Also convenient to parts of Grand Staircase-Escalante Natl Monument. The campground is about halfway between the entrance station to Bryce Canyon Natl Park and Kodachrome Basin State Park. I highly recommend the pancakes available Thur-Mon mornings this summer - fluffy, light, tasty! (The couple making them are KOA worker campers there until Labor Day.) Everyone was friendly and helpful and the amenities were an unexpected plus (game room with refreshing A/C, internet computer, book exchange, menus from a few local restaurants common kitchen areas with refrigerator, microwave, dish washing sink, food prep counter clean bathrooms, private locking shower stalls laundry facilities pool ping pong table). I'd never stayed at a KOA before and was very impressed. Throughout the campground there were low trees, which created a pleasant atmosphere and some privacy. It was on a hill above the other sites and had a lovely view of the mountains and the farmland by day and the Milky Way and night sky. When we checked in, we were told the tent site, T6, we'd reserved online would be a tight fit for our 2 large tents and they graciously moved us for the same price to T21, a larger multi-tent site with electricity and water.
